About Me

I’m Shane, a trans man (he/him) wordsmith and artist.

A lot of what I write is best described as LGBTQ+ dark romance, erotica, and urban fantasy that is oftentimes weird and unconventional, but always very emotional with a lot of feels in between. I’ve also been known to dabble with horror and Gothic fiction. I’ve been writing my whole life as well as drawing and doodling, and if I ever find myself not creating I feel incomplete.

I’ve channeled a lot of my mental illness’s symptoms and the weirdness that comes with them into my creativity, and it gives me an outlet where I otherwise feel I have to be silent. I also like to include subjects in my books related to that to help raise awareness while telling an interesting story.

I have a passion and love for philosophy, the science of dreaming and sleep, occult studies including demonology and magick, metaphysics, ghosts, and the subject of death and beyond. I also grew up loving everything to do with horror. I used to read Shivers, Goosebumps, and Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark until I memorized them. Now, I’ve found a love for Mark Twain, Edgar Alan Poe, Marquis de Sade, V.C. Andrews, Anne Rice, H.P. Lovecraft, and Charles Baudelaire.

Music is a love of mine as well. It’s also a huge part of my creative drive and my writing, and I have a playlist for every story. I’m also heavily inspired by various animes, which really shaped my drawing style early on.

Random Fact: I have extremely lucid and vivid dreams often. Sometimes I will have a dream that tells an entirely coherent, linear story from beginning to end, which I jot down immediately upon waking so I don’t forget it. At least a few of my books were those kinds of dreams.

Follow your dreams no matter how many people try to discourage you. You have them for a reason — they’re important!
